Questions families ask.
About what we do and what it costs, who we send into your home, what happens when it matters most, and arranging care for parents in India from abroad. If yours is not here, ask a coordinator.
About ensCARE
What is ensCARE?
A family-care service. We coordinate senior care, nursing, housekeeping, cooking, errands, emergency support and the end of life through one number, one named coordinator and one bill — with every price published before you ask.
What services does ensCARE provide?
Senior care and caregivers, nursing, housekeeping and cooking, grocery and errands, medical coordination and hospital support, emergency response, and Last Journey services. Every one is listed with its price.
Every service and priceWhere does ensCARE operate?
In eight cities: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kochi. Every one has the same three tiers of vetting, a named coordinator and the same 24-hour desk.
See every locationDoes my parent need to use an app?
No. The senior in your family is cared for, not asked to learn software. The app is for you — and for the coordinator and caregivers who work for you. Nothing about the service depends on your mother owning a smartphone.
What happens to my family’s health data?
It is encrypted, and access is governed by recorded consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 — not by who happens to be paying. Every access is written to a hash-chained audit log you can request. Consent can be withdrawn, and withdrawal takes effect immediately.
Why publish your prices?
Because the alternative is asking a family in distress to negotiate. Every price on this site is the price. Emergency and Last Journey services are billed at cost with the coordination fee stated separately.
Booking and plans
How do I book an ensCARE service?
Choose the service you need and book it from your account, or ask us to call you and a coordinator will arrange it with you. The price you see is the price you pay, so there is nothing to negotiate first.
Can I book a single service without taking a monthly plan?
Yes. Every service we run is published with its price, and a family can book from that catalogue without a plan at all. A plan bundles the everyday ones most families ask for into a single monthly figure so you do not have to assemble it yourself.
What are ensCARE’s monthly care plans?
Four ready-made plans, from regular check-in visits to near full-time care. Each bundles the everyday services most families ask for into one monthly price, and every one includes your coordinator, the 24-hour helpline and your family’s health profile.
The plans and their pricesWhat comes with every plan?
A dedicated care coordinator, 24/7 helpline access in English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi or Bengali, and your family’s health vault with its one-click ER brief. Those are not add-ons on any tier — they are what the monthly price buys before a single visit is scheduled.
Can I change my care plan later?
Yes. Families move up and down as the season of care changes, and can drop to per-service booking entirely. Your coordinator makes the change.
Are medical and hospital expenses included in the price?
Generally, no. Doctor, hospital, medicine, diagnostic, ambulance and other third-party costs are separate unless an agreed service specifically includes them.
Emergency and Last Journey services are billed at cost — what the hospital, the ambulance operator or the vendor charges — with our coordination fee stated separately on the same invoice. A plan never hides what a third party charged you.
Caregivers and nursing
How does ensCARE select caregivers?
Three tiers of checks before anyone is assigned: police clearance, government photo identity with a physically verified address, and medical screening appropriate to the work. A check that lapses takes the person off the roster the same day.
How we vet peopleCan I request a specific caregiver?
You can tell us your preferences, and we will try to provide a suitable caregiver based on availability and what the work requires.
Does ensCARE provide nursing services?
Yes. Home nursing and specialised care can be arranged to the person’s needs and clinical requirements, from a single visit to 12-hour shifts.
Hospitals and emergencies
Can ensCARE help with doctor appointments and hospital visits?
Yes. We coordinate appointments, diagnostics, medical escorts, hospital visits, admission, discharge and the follow-up afterwards.
What happens in an emergency?
If a life is in danger, call 112 first. ensCARE does not replace emergency medical services.
Then call our 24-hour desk. It coordinates the ambulance, the hospital and your family, and a medical SOS that is not acknowledged within 60 seconds escalates on its own.
The emergency numberFamilies living overseas
I live abroad. Does that work?
It is what we are built for. Secondary and NRI relatives get their own access with scoped visibility, updates in your timezone, and the ability to approve an emergency deposit from another continent.
NRI parent careCan I arrange care for my parents while I live overseas?
Yes. ensCARE is designed to help families coordinate care for parents in India while family members live elsewhere.
Do my parents need to use a smartphone or an app?
Not necessarily. Your parents can communicate with the care team through agreed channels. Technology requirements depend on the services selected.
Can I receive updates about my parents?
Yes, subject to your parents’ consent and the agreed family communication arrangements.
Can ensCARE accompany my parents to a hospital?
Hospital and medical-escort services may be available depending on location, service availability and the agreed care plan.
Can you manage my parents’ medicines?
ensCARE can provide medication-related reminders, coordination and support services where appropriate.
ensCARE does not replace a doctor or pharmacist and does not independently change prescribed medication.
Can you arrange a caregiver for my parents?
Caregiver services may be available depending on your parents’ requirements, location and personnel availability.
The appropriate level of support is discussed during the care assessment.
What happens if my parent has an emergency?
For a life-threatening emergency, local emergency services should be contacted immediately — 112 in India.
ensCARE can support family communication and care coordination around the emergency, subject to the circumstances and agreed services.
Are hospital and medical costs included?
Generally, no.
Medical consultations, hospital charges, medicines, diagnostics, ambulance, equipment and other third-party costs are normally separate from the ensCARE care-plan fee unless explicitly included in your agreement.
Can I pay from Australia, USA, Canada or Europe?
International payment options can be discussed during onboarding. Your care agreement will specify the applicable payment method and currency.
Can I cancel the service?
Cancellation terms depend on the care agreement and selected service. Please review the applicable terms before starting a plan.
What cities do you cover?
ensCARE operates in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kochi.
Coverage within a city depends on the services your parents need. Tell us their address during the assessment and we will confirm what is available there.
