What this actually is

Structured contact at day 3, 13, 30, 90, 180 and 365 — the points at which support usually stops and grief usually does not. Counselling is available where it is wanted, and the household’s practical loose ends, including a dependent pet, are not left to sort themselves out.

What is included

  • Scheduled post-loss check-ins at six points across the first year
  • Referral to qualified grief counselling on request
  • Estate and claims tracking: insurance, pension, bank and property
  • Care or rehoming for a dependent pet
  • A single point of contact throughout, not a new person each time

What is not

  • Clinical psychiatric treatment, which is referred rather than provided
  • Legal representation in a succession dispute
