What this actually is

A cook who works in your kitchen, to your family’s cuisine and spice level, using your vessels. Where a doctor has prescribed a diet — low sodium, renal, diabetic, post-surgical soft — the plan is recorded against the beneficiary’s profile and followed, not improvised.

What is included

  • Menu agreed with the household in advance, not imposed
  • Fresh preparation in your own kitchen and vessels
  • Clinical diets followed as prescribed, where a prescription is on file
  • Kitchen left clean, surfaces wiped, vessels washed
  • Portioning and labelling for later meals on request

What is not

  • Ingredients — billed at cost with the receipt attached, or bought by the household
  • Non-vegetarian preparation where the household kitchen is vegetarian
  • Catering for gatherings above eight people, which is brokered separately
